Mission Statement
Our mission is to place health equity at the forefront of Canada's healthcare system, guided by the principles of the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control. We are committed to building international partnerships to advance cancer care and management both in Canada and on a global scale.
Understanding the importance of a unified national approach, we are proud to spearhead the creation of the Canadian Global Cancer Network. This network is designed to increase awareness, foster understanding, and amplify the collective impact of efforts to address health disparities and improve access to cancer control initiatives. By promoting pan-Canadian collaboration, we aim to reduce inequities in cancer care, establish ethical partnerships, strengthen cancer control systems, and elevate cancer as a key priority within Canada’s global health agenda.
