Dr. Marc Gaudet is originally from Moncton, New Brunswick.  After training at Université Laval in Quebec City and at the University of British Columbia, he started his Radiation Oncologist career in Gatineau, QC including work in the Abitibi-Temiscamingue region of Quebec.  He is currently Head of Radiation Oncology at the Ottawa Hospital and an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Ottawa.  In 2022, he became one of the first 2 oncologists ever licensed to practice in the Territory of Nunavut and has since co-led the Cancer Care clinic in Iqaluit.  He leads ongoing efforts to increase access to cancer care for rural and northern populations in Canada.
